Job Title: Head of Growth (Chief of Staff + Head of Platform duties)
Location: Flatiron, Manhattan (In-Person, 5 Days a Week)

Compensation: Base Salary: $65,000 with significant performance-based incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and carry opportunities.

It’s an exciting time at Daring Ventures and we’re looking to make our first key hire! The Head of Growth is a full-time position, serving as a hybrid Chief of Staff and Head of Platform, and playing a critical role in everything from fund operations to community engagement to strategic initiatives as well as serving as a trusted advisor to our GPs.
We are looking for someone who inspires and pushes us as much as we inspire and push them. Expect this to be a demanding but rewarding opportunity with significant growth potential. Showing up with an ownership mentality can translate to actual partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and implement systems to support fund-level operations and define success metrics to track performance
- Develop and execute a community engagement strategy to foster venture ecosystem partnerships
- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the co-founders, contributing to strategic decision-making
- Anything and everything else, including things we haven’t thought of that you come up with
What We Are Looking For
- Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced startup environment and can work efficiently with no supervision
- Demonstrated success in a position with a similar level of responsibility (a lot) and oversight (not much)
- Experience developing & implementing operational processes & KPIs for an organization
- Advanced knowledge of Notion / Airtable / Asana / similar software specifically for project management
- Strong writing ability and a knack for storytelling
- 5 days a week, in-person NYC availability
