HCC is seeking to add an Associate to its New York based team. The Associate will work with senior investment professionals at HCC to evaluate and execute on growth stage private equity investments and assist in management of the firm’s portfolio companies. This is an entrepreneurial role that offers new hires the opportunity to make an outsized impact from day one. While the position is considered a two-year commitment, exceptional performers will be considered for longer term roles. An MBA is not required for advancement in the organization.
Responsibilities:
-Evaluate investment opportunities from sourcing / initial assessment through deal closing and ongoing portfolio management
-Financial modeling and business due diligence analysis in support of new investment due diligence
-Help quarterback deals and third-party due diligence via management of and communication with third party advisors
-Industry research to identify thematic areas of focus
-Work with portfolio company management and support deal teams in ongoing portfolio initiatives
Applicants should have at least two years of investment banking, private equity or similar experience. Ideal candidates will have a passion for working with innovative healthcare companies.
