Investment Associate Role Description
Responsibilities (comparable to middle market private equity associate roles)
- Screen investment opportunities for both EP and EP’s partner firms
- Produce quality analysis to support investment conclusions
- Develop accurate and flexible financial models and scenario analyses
- Help to monitor existing partner firms and assist with value-add project-based advisory work
- Create internal presentations and memos regarding investment opportunities and group operations
- Support benchmarking efforts, including data aggregation, analysis, and presentation creation
- Help to enhance internal processes and procedures
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience, with a background in private equity, investment banking or management consulting strongly preferred
- Superior work ethic, strong desire to learn, and uncompromising attention to detail
- Highly adaptable and capable of working independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and research skills
- Interest in wealth, asset, and alternative asset management businesses
- Willingness to be based in New York or Chicago
