We are people-first investors. Loeb.nyc represents a new approach to launching startups that pairs capital with the support of our shared services teams made up of experts across a wide range of disciplines. We call it a venture collective.
The Experience
We connect students who are passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation to exciting start-ups.
Through our immersive experience, interns will work in a fast paced start up environment and see how essential the pairing of capital and operational support is to successful ventures.
The internship begins in early June at Michael Loeb’s home in Southampton (if you’ve seen Billions on Showtime, it’s that Hamptons house), with a 3-day social and dynamic onboarding program we call “Internatopia”. The following Monday, interns kick off their 10-week internship with the Loeb.nyc portfolio company or shared services team that they were matched with during the interview process.
Alongside the hands-on experience interns gain from their day-to-day responsibilities, they are exposed to all facets of entrepreneurship through a speaker series, networking opportunities, and various social events.
Who do we look for?
Our interns join us from a variety of backgrounds and there is no one major or concentration we look for. Our interns are growth-minded undergraduate students who have the drive, commitment, and grit to innovate and iterate in the world of startups. If this is you, don’t hesitate to apply!
