You will assist with the research, escalation, and resolution of HRIS-related operational issues, ensuring smooth functioning of the system. In addition, you will offer customer support for employee self-service and other end-user functions. Throughout these responsibilities, maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive employee data will be a top priority.Data Management and AnalysisYou will be responsible for processing, compiling, and manipulating data across various HR systems. This includes writing, maintaining, and supporting reports and queries, as well as managing complex reporting across multiple platforms. A key aspect of this role is conducting ongoing data quality checks and analysis to ensure data accuracy and system integrity. You will also analyze and troubleshoot issues related to employee personnel actions, while identifying opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements. Collaboration with TCHR staff will be essential to evaluate, design, configure, and test functional modifications to HRIS systems.HRIS Process Improvement and Project SupportThis role supports the data and information needs of the TCHR team and other campus stakeholders. You will manage recurring HRIS processes, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee data. Working closely with the Director of HRIS & Operational Excellence, you will help implement and support system changes. Additionally, you will provide processing support for various projects and initiatives and participate in campus-wide or department-specific strategic projects, committees, and working groups.General ResponsibilitiesThis position also contributes to fostering a diverse and inclusive campus community and supports the University's sustainability initiatives. You may be asked to perform additional duties as needed to support the overall goals of the department and institution.What You'll Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.Three years of experience working with HRIS systems, particularly with Workday.Advanced proficiency in using HRIS systems for processing, reporting, and data analysis.Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel for data management, analysis, and visualization.Technical proficiency in relevant applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR-related software for effective data gathering, interpretation, organization, and presentation.Ability to quickly learn new data analysis software independently.Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, quantitative research, and data storytelling to translate complex data into actionable insights.Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential data with high accuracy and discretion.Strong critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.Ability to balance the need for quality with the requirement to meet deadlines.Proven ability to collaborate, influence, and build trust with campus partners and stakeholders.Demonstrated success in building relationships and working with sensitive and confidential information.Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of self-motivation and initiative.Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and manage multiple projects and competing priorities, both independently and within teams.Experience working in a service-oriented environment, with an ability to adapt to shifting priorities and meet project deadlines.Added Bonus:Experience in higher education or a service-oriented organization.Experience with Workday Work Setting: A hybrid work arrangement is available. Job Exempt:YesSalary Range:65,680.00-82,100.00The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.
