As a Software Engineer, you will have a variety of technologies to work with. Python, Java, C++, and Go we use them all! Our infrastructure is 100% cloud-based, which means you can finally say goodbye to soul-crushing technical debt and hello to cutting-edge tools and tech! You will develop applications accessing large financial data sets. You will collaborate daily with Operations and Product teams to brainstorm and implement our next generation of data and analytic information products.

This position is able to be remote in the United States or hybrid, working out of our NYC or Miami, Florida office.

The Software Engineer Will:
• Have 2 - 4 years of experience - ideally with a mix of Python or Java, and SQL in a cloud environment
• Develop applications accessing large financial data sets
• Assist with the troubleshooting of production support issues
• Enjoy the challenge of researching data issues to maintain quality in our large data sets
• Experience in performance-sensitive applications and optimization

$90,000 - $130,000 a year
Pay ranges at OptionMetrics are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee's job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at OptionMetrics are eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits.
