IRAP is seeking an exceptional HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will support the HR team across all areas of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, performance management, and compliance. The HR Generalist will report to the Senior VP- Global HR and will work closely with the HR team members.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the recruitment process, including maintaining organizational job descriptions, posting jobs, and interview coordination.
- Conduct pre-employment screenings in alignment with IRAP safeguarding policies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR matters.
- Facilitate the compliance with employment law by ensuring IRAP has required posters and is sending employee notifications.
- Coordinate employee benefits, including enrollments and terminations.
- Serve as the back-up for payroll; ensure compliance with all IRAP policies.
- Prepare and analyze HR reports.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires.
- Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, including exit interviews.
- Identify opportunities for HR process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Prepare and present reports on project progress, outcomes, and impact.
- Support the SVP, HR directly on the execution of projects and deliverables as needed.
- Undertake other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications- Education
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years of experience or equivalent minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred, but not required.
- Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience plus a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
- Experience working in a unionized environment and navigating labor relations, including contract negotiations, grievance procedures, and maintaining positive union-management relationships.
- Experience working with Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) or third-party administrators.

Job-related Requirements- This position is based in NY, DC or remote within the US.
- This position requires 10-20%. Quarterly to the NY or DC offices and semi-annually to any IRAP office in Germany, Lebanon or Jordan.
- This position does not require office availability.
$76,537 - $88,727 a year
