Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) - Working in both the Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of care. The professional nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team.
Minimum Requirements
• NJ Licensed RN
• BLS through the American Heart Association
• ACLS & PALS (or able to obtain within 6 months), IV, Glucometer, and Dysrhythmia certifications
• Intermediate computer skills, excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull
Preferred Requirements:
• One year Emergency Room experience/Pediatric experience
• BSN
• CEN & CPEN
• Previous cardiac monitoring experience
