Position
The Sr Manager, Government Sales is responsible for managing and directing the government sales strategy in collaboration with front-line Government sellers. This role involves leading and managing a team of 8+ sellers, motivating, and coaching them to achieve strong performance results. Position is remote and candidates can live anywhere within commute distance to NYC.
Responsibilities
·Develop and implement sales generation strategies to support new Government business.
·Identify retention opportunities to maintain and grow the existing customer base.
·Lead and manage a team of 8+ sellers.
·Motivate, coach, and guide the team to achieve strong performance results. Provide strategic leadership and support to ensure team success.
·Support additional non-selling and administrative functions as needed.
·Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by business management.
Requirements
·2-4 years of team management experience. 2-4 years of sales management selling to government agencies
·Expertise in government procurement -prefer wireless experience.
·Strong strategic leadership skills.
·Proficiency in customer acquisition
·Bachelor’s degree
Base Salary $110K-$190K -OTE -$200K-$280K
