Data Analyst (Oracle GoldenGate Specialist)
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle GoldenGate Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing Oracle GoldenGate solutions to ensure seamless data replication and integration across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Oracle GoldenGate solutions for data replication and integration.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate processes to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with database administrators, developers, and other stakeholders to optimize data flow and replication strategies.
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades of Oracle GoldenGate environments.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Oracle GoldenGate configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to team members and stakeholders on Oracle GoldenGate best practices.
- Set up and maintain Veridata to ensure Data Completeness between Source and Target Databases.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Extensive experience with Oracle GoldenGate, including installation, configuration, and administration.
- Strong understanding of Oracle GoldenGate Veridata for data comparison and validation.
- Strong understanding of database concepts, particularly Oracle databases.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Apache NIFI or Pentaho.
- Experience with data replication, data integration, and data migration projects.
- Knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle GoldenGate certification.
- Experience with other data replication tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
