Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 (40 hours) What You’ll Do Summary/Objective: The data analyst will work with the business units to support their reporting needs and to help unlock actionable insights. Must be able to translate complex data into key insights with minimal assistance between analyzing the data and interpreting/communicating the results. Gather and analyze data in support of business cases and proposed projects. Create and maintain business intelligence reports and delivery systems and create, maintain, and enhance regular reporting deliverables. Proatively analyze data from a variety of sources to inform decision making Scrub data to ensure accuracy of reporting Quickly and accurately deliver applications and analysis. Develop insight to data, review findings with business partners, and provide superb customer service through clear and concise communications as well as complete documentation Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Managers(s). What You’ll Need Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field Knowledge of relational database management systems Knowledge of advanced SQL, query optimization and stored procedures Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau(preferred) and Power BI Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Knowledge of analytical approaches and methods (reporting, modeling, optimization) Prior experience in a financial institution is preferred 0 - 2 years experience in a similar role What We Do DCU is the largest credit union headquartered in New England – serving more than one million members in all 50 states.
