Our team is working to ensure Zoox’s hardware and software are safe for operation in the real world through the use of simulation. As part of this process, the team is responsible for designing and running large numbers of simulations to generate key autonomy metrics that help to ensure Zoox’s hardware and software operate as expected. Technical Qualifications & Language Requirements Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree in computer science, applied mathematics, engineering, or other quantitative areaExperience in PythonCollaborative team player with strong written and in-person communication skills Bonus Qualifications Previous internship experience at a software engineering organizationFamiliarity with React or FlaskExperience with cloud, database and infra technologies (AWS, S3, SQL, Databricks, Airflow) and coding best practicesCompensationThe monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility.
