We are excited to announce the launch of our new engineering team in the US, aimed at partnering with our international stakeholders in Kuala Lumpur to support and enhance Xsolla Engineering. We are looking for a talented Frontend Software Engineer responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into actual code that produces visual elements of our applications. You will work closely with backend developers and other stakeholders (both locally and internationally), to ensure the delivery of high-quality software that meets the needs of our users. We are primarily looking for candidates in Baltimore, Maryland but will also consider candidates in Raleigh, North Carolina.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop new user-facing features using React.js and other modern front-end technologies.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Develop new user-facing features and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure that all user input is validated before submitting to backend services.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing legacy software.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to the front-end services.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with frontend frameworks and architecture.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
- Experience with version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in React.js and its core principles.
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
