As a Salesforce Developer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our Salesforce platform to support our sales, marketing, and business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and customize Salesforce solutions that streamline business processes and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development and a passion for leveraging technology to drive Rhombus’ growth.
What You’ll Do
- Utilize Apex to code new objects for customization of fields, record types, page layouts, and validation rules to meet specific business and security requirements
- Proactively identify operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations in Salesforce to optimize workflows and processes
- Collaborate with Admins and stakeholders to define, create, and manage complex workflow rules, data validations, and triggers
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on processes and procedures related to Salesforce configurations
- Enhance the security posture of our Salesforce instance by implementing best practices and security measures
- Create and manage test cases, execute functional tests, and adhere to test schedules to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of Salesforce deployments
- Develop integrations with other cloud solutions such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Impartner, 6sense, to streamline data flow and enhance system functionality
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in Salesforce development, with proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, and security features
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Salesforce certifications such as CPQ and/or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer is preferred
What You Know
- Apex, JavaScript, HTML, CSS to enhance user experience and system functionality
- SOQL and SOSL Query languages to extract data efficiently
- Git using Version Control for planning, creating branches, and performing merges
- Salesforce administration, including but not limited to profiles, permission sets, security, page layouts, validation rules, formulas, flows, process builder, reports, and dashboards
This is a hybrid position based in Sacramento, CA. Candidates must be able to commute to the office as needed.
Compensation Range
$90,000 - $140,000
Additional forms of compensation, depending on the role, include uncapped commission, sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company. Individual pay is determined based on the candidate’s primary work/hiring location and additional factors, such as skills and experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Further details about compensation for the role can be discussed during the interview process.
