What the Candidate Will Do
- Work closely with the Global Delivery Marketing teams, responsible for setting up campaign pre- and post-analyses for A/B testing, cohorting, experiment design, cost projection, KPI measurement and more. Collaborate on project planning and prioritization meetings, stakeholder meetings, monthly result share-out meetings, etc.
- Design business analysis, create and maintain dashboards that provide reliable measurement, insights and visualization into earners, and channel performance relative to KPIs, projections, and historical performance. Create necessary data processes and pipelines to power reports or dashboards.
- Perform root cause analysis to provide insights and suggestions to drive business decisions.
- Understand performance and ROI of different marketing channels for both acquisition and engagement; bring solutions to optimize marketing efforts.
- Be a key driver of marketing strategy, by thinking beyond immediate analysis to understand long term implications of actions.
---- Basic Qualifications ----
- Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field, or commensurate work experience.
- 3 years experience with SQL databases.
- Experience visualizing data and creating reports, e.g. tableau, excel / google sheets.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
---- Preferred Qualifications ----
- Expertise with SQL databases - ideally Presto, Vertica, Redshift, and/or Hadoop.
- Familiarity with statistics, regression analysis, and causal analysis.
- Experience identifying and adapting to imperfect data.
- Experience with Python, R, or another scripting language.
- Speed, resourcefulness and a go-getter attitude. Moving quickly and executing to allow for continual iteration is a core qualification of our team.
- Someone who is willing to contribute new ideas and articulate them to a variety of stakeholders and not just execute on existing ones.
- A commitment to learning - We want someone who seeks to deliver impact, but also invests in themselves and others. We don’t get better by standing still, so you will need to consistently seek to innovate and raise the bar.
- A love of data - you just go get the data you need and turn it into an insightful story. You know how to convert data into decisions without getting stuck in paralysis by analysis.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$165,000 per year - USD$183,000 per year.
