StraighterLine’s Early Childhood Education program is designed to provide early childhood educators with an affordable way to earn a bachelor’s degree in education online. Our courses allow those professionals working in childcare centers, Head Start programs, and preschools to further their education and advance their careers while continuing to work.
We are looking for a dedicated Enrollment Services Manager to recruit, manage, and motivate a team of front-line specialists. This team is responsible for enrolling professionals in the early childhood sector in courses that will position them to take advantage of open teaching positions in the more than 100,000 schools across the United States, each with a growing need for teachers from preschool through K-12. In your role as our Enrollment Services lead, you must have a strong understanding of the Early Childhood Education space, and the ability to identify lead generation and sales opportunities. You will be expected to balance your strong functional expertise with excellent people management skills, motivating your team to maximize their individual potential and exceed our enrollment targets. Your primary responsibility is to meet and exceed targets set forth by the business by managing territories, lead flow and contact strategy for Early Education Enrollment Specialist team.
LOCATION: Remote in the DMV with travel to Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage day to day operations of the Early Education Enrollment Specialist team including holding Enrollment Specialists accountable for identifying and enrolling the right centers and early childhood educators at the right time through the consultative sales process
- Create a culture of accountability, teamwork and achievement, continuously analyze team and individual performance for all team members
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and facilitate on-going trainings with specialists as new programs, policies, skills gaps and partnerships are developed or identified
- Establish and produce baseline data and reports, provide analysis on efficiency and scale improvements across the team and decide “what great looks like” and how to get there
- Address and resolve all escalated prospective customer concerns and/or issues
- Develop strong team relationships with the Marketing, Support Services Team and all other internal departments to ensure a seamless student experience
- Identify and proactively communicate to leadership industry trends, team needs, and process improvements to drive business goals
Qualifications
- Some college experience required, bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of inside sales leadership experience
- 3+ years sales, admissions, or enrollment experience, preferably in the online education space
- Experience building and supporting a high-performing inside sales team
- Familiarity with early childhood education is a plus

- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Self- motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Detail oriented, goal driven, able to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to complete multiple tasks with a high degree of attention to detail while handling frequent interruptions
- Positive disposition to ensure pleasant experience with employees and other departments
