Salary Range: 55000 to 75000 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)
This role is a key contributor and stakeholder in maintaining and managing our day-to-day, monthly and annual Payfac operations, KYC/AML and risk portfolio, building out resource material and providing backup to the Compliance Officer. Accountable for all payment operations, launching new projects/migrations internally with the PMO team, leading cross functional team meetings on behalf of the payments team and implementing policies and procedures that reduce risk while improving overall performance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Act as SME for WorkWave Payments (WWP) with internal support, account management and sales teams daily and monthly.
- Serve as backup to the AML Compliance Officer for sufficient coverage.
- Perform detailed analysis of payments-related data.
- Create and maintain evolving KYC/AML Underwriting policies and procedures.
- Active member of the Fraud team and communicating across teams on next steps.
- Review daily output of suspect transactions with direct follow up and conclusion to applicable clients to confirm Yes/No incidence of fraud or other irregularity.
- Create and maintain company policy and procedures for company acquisitions/ownership changes when it relates to WWP to ensure proper 1099 tax reporting.
- Align with teams on creating process maps on operations.
- Process payments and partner with ops and financial audits.
- Lead internal and external audits.
- Support VP and Senior Manager with migration planning.
- Partner with PMO for cross-functional process-related support.
- Assist with successful completion of KYC audits and annual PCI certifications.
- Identify specific issues and applicable trends impacting WorkWave Payments operations and WorkWave product strategies – in support of defining product/solution requirements with Product Owner and business priorities with Payments Director.
- Oversee daily transaction monitoring and underwriting.
- Assess monthly fee changes, rate adjustments, MID closures and MID reconciliation.
- Align with finance to ensure WWP fees are billed with accuracy and on time.
- Approve and review Bank Account Changes and company bank change policy.
- Coordinate Monthly Price increases between Infinicept, Salesforce and Sales team.
- Maintain and assess vendor relationships.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience with Payfac platforms, Card/ACH/RTP/alternative payments processing background, data management (in Salesforce and/or equivalent), payments data analysis, software integration orientation
- Experience with Slack, Confluence, JIRA, Excel, Google/MS Suite, Salesforce (or equivalent)
- Preferred: Compliance (BSA/KYC/AML), Wireframes, Basic understanding of API technology
- Ability to solve gaps/issues in software and payment platform & process
- Ability to escalate problems to work with Customer Service when needed
- Excellent cross-team communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to be flexible and adaptable
