Purpose of Job:
To assure that our vehicle meets our exacting quality standard and meets or exceeds customer expectations. To develop test solutions to meet various acceptance test requirements throughout the development and production of Czinger Vehicles. To work directly with design engineers to ensure robust and actionable requirements are developed, and to facilitate a transfer of knowledge enabling sustaining engineering activities. To provide guidance, training, and specific instruction to the production work force to enable efficient operation of test assets.
Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:
•Collaborates with Responsible Design Engineers to develop test requirements and standards.
•Designs, develops, implements and qualifies test solutions for various vehicle systems both electrical and mechanical.
•Ensures all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards and best practices.
•Creates a management system for test assets to include periodic preventative maintenance.
•Provide root cause analysis assistance or leadership during trouble rectification.
•Develop intuitive human-machine interaction tools for test assets to enable trained production technicians to efficiently operate any test.
•Implement data connectivity to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to enable effective data capture.
•Provide sustaining engineering coverage for vehicle systems and act as the first line of defense for problem resolution.
•Demonstrable experience designing and implementing test equipment and software
•Great collaboration and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to project manage multiple equipment builds and implementations.
•Excellent technical writing skills and ability to create clear, concise documentation.
