What to expect:
You will be deployed by SQA’s operations center based on client needs and each supplier’s production schedule.
What you’ll do
You will be conducting precise mechanical inspections at various client-supplier sites primarily in Whitsett, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. In-process and final source inspection of mechanical parts. Read and interpret standard manufacturing drawings based on industry and commodity standards
What you’ll need:
4+ years of hands-on inspection experience with precision machined parts knowledge and hands-on experience working with various inspection tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, etc.)
GD&T experience is required
CMM experience (but not necessarily CMM programming experience).
CMM programming experience is a plus
Due to ITAR requirements, US Citizenship and background checks are required.
Note: Mechanical inspectors at this level are capable of validating dimensions (total tolerances >/=.005” with Minimal GD&T validation) utilizing standard hand tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gages)
