- Demonstrate safe behaviors through work tasks and processes, serving as a positive role model through modeling desirable behaviors
- Key leader in promoting safety first
- Represent quality standards at all times
- Train and develop coaches through formal and informal methods
- Coordinate & facilitate OJT for new and existing production associates
- Facilitate the Hourly Development Program (Entry Level) to include:
- Conducting quarterly training sessions with coaches
- Seek to understand and work through training issues with coaches
- Acquire and track survey data from associates and coaches
- Use data from surveys to update the program and keep it fresh
- Continuously inform supervisors on the progress of their associates
- Maintain certifications for all respective job tasks
- Partner with Supervisor to develop/manage associate training plans
- Drive accountability for job rotation and plans
- Weekly training/certification progress reports
- Validate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) / work instructions with Document Control
- Validate processes thru LPA and ergonomics analysis
- Collaborate with other BU Trainers for documentation, consistency; as well as, support plant-wide training initiatives (orientation, mentor program, certification)
- Continuously update current programs
- Assist with project work, such as completing Tru-Improvements
- Flex schedule to meet the demands on all 3 shifts
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent presentation/communication skills both verbal, and written
- Self-directed
- Work well with others
- Comfortable with providing on the job training and classroom training
- Great Attendance and solid current job performance
- Interface professionally with all associates, at all levels
- Ability to work in a cross functional team environment
- Strong ability to drive positive change
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Six months to one year related experience preferred.

NON- PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate works around mechanical hazards, noise and or vibration on a daily basis. Extreme temperatures, wetness / humidity and being outdoors are seasonally in nature.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of computer functions and strong computer operations skills. Ability to run respective inventory system (Oracle/BY)
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence.
