As a Technical Trainer for Boston Dynamics, you will join our Customer Learning & Development team to support training events focused on our cutting-edge robotics technology. You will be responsible for training a variety of audiences including our internal teams, and external operators, stakeholders or trainers, both in-house and at customer locations.
To thrive in this role, you must be experienced delivering technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty, love to learn new technologies quickly, and can build strong relationships with a world-class engineering team to stay updated on product changes and enhancements. Responsibilities:
Lead interactive training for our commercial robot line:
Spot: Our agile mobile robot for dynamic sensing and industrial inspection. Training on Spot involves multiple end-user use cases and familiarity with the Spot Python SDK.
Stretch:Our mobile warehouse case unloading robot. Training on Stretch involves train-the-trainer for safety and operations.
Orbit:Our software to manage and analyze your robot fleet.
Design, maintain, and deliver instructor-led training to end-user customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, including hands-on exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective training content, staying current on both hardware and software changes in a fast-paced, technical environment.
Collect feedback to track knowledge retention and inform continuous improvement efforts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a trainer or teacher, with demonstrated success communicating complex technical subject matter to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Exceptional communication skills and confidence engaging with customers and various internal stakeholders, including sales and engineering teams.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, be a self-motivator with a passion for innovation and willingness to challenge the status quo in a positive and collaborative manner.
Practical hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical systems, enterprise network environments, and familiarity with Linux command line interface as well as Python or similar coding languages.
High personal accountability and flexibility to adapt in a changing environment.

Travel Requirements:
Interest and ability to travel around 50% of the time, including international travel.
