What is this role?
As a CMMS Storeroom Supervisor at Cirkul, you will be responsible for managing our storeroom operations, ensuring the efficient and effective inventory management of parts and supplies necessary for our beverage technology systems. You will play a key role in maintaining the smooth functioning of our manufacturing and distribution processes by overseeing inventory levels, implementing storage solutions, and optimizing supply chain management through our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
What does an average day look like?
Driving Results: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and prevent shortages.
Taking Ownership: Take responsibility for the accurate storage and organization of parts and supplies.
Making Decisions: Address and resolve any inventory discrepancies or issues promptly.
Cultivating Relationships: Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to understand their inventory needs and provide support. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies.
Instilling Trust: Maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability in inventory management.
Customer Focus: Ensure that parts and supplies are available when needed to support production and maintenance activities.
What background should you have?
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of CMMS and its application in inventory management.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with team members and suppliers.
- Experience with safety and regulatory compliance in storeroom operations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
