Your experience includes…
- BS in in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field with 5-9 years of industry experience; or MS in these fields with 3-7 years of industry experience.
- Strong Experience with automated liquid handling systems and high-throughput technologies
- Training and mentorship of junior team members
- Accurate record keeping of experimental data and maintenance of detailed electronic notebooks
- Adherence to all laboratory safety requirements and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- It’s a bonus if you have hands-on experience in vitro transcribed RNA and Benchling Software

- Actively participating in advancing and evaluating current workflows and contributing to streamlining the RNA production process
- Performing quality control (QC) assays, analyzing and interpreting experimental data, and ensuring accurate data reporting and documentation

Simran Bawa, Senior Manager, HTP Operations
Originally from India, Simran received her PhD at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. She joined St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a postdoctoral fellow and was hired by Tessera in 2022. At Tessera, her work focuses on streamlining and optimizing DNA and RNA high-throughput production for platform development. Outside of work, Simran enjoys hiking, painting, and reading.
