Description:
As a Cryptologic Cyber Planner you will provide drafting, reviewing, and editing of end-product reporting expertise for the govt. You will develop, coordinate, and integrate cyber planning, mitigation strategies, tactics, and operations for organizational needs. Planners must address how to leverage existing processes, analytic techniques, proprietary tools, and technologies to create and implement operational campaigns. Operational plans/campaigns shall be evaluated for strategic planning, countermeasure development, implementation, and measure of effectiveness. You shall document operational use cases to support adversary defeat, initiate communications with external support partners, and conduct research for sources of data to be used in future planning.
The day-to-day:
Planners should have strong cyber background, experience with operational planning, the ability to effectively communicate organizational requirements, and lead developmental working groups and/or meetings as requested by the client.
Relevant experience must be in an area directly related to the agency (e.g., collection, cyber and intelligence analysis) and/or a similar mission and include strategic and/or operational level planning (e.g., joint operations). External engagement/collaboration experience (e.g., participation in cross-Agency working groups, JDA, field assignments, and external customer support) is preferred.
Basic Qualifications (Requirements):
- TS/SCI security clearance with active polygraph.
- High school diploma or GED + 12 years of relevant experience OR
- Associate’s degree + 10 years of relevant experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree + 8 years of relevant experience
- Master’s degree + 6 years of relevant experience
- Doctoral degree + 4 years of relevant experience
- Degree in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, or related field is preferred but a degree in any field is acceptable.
