Position Overview
We are looking for a talented researcher who is passionate about developing new EEG-based biomarkers to expand the capabilities of our device beyond seizure detection. The ideal candidate has experience in analyzing brain signals for biomedical applications and has a strong background in signal processing, time-series analysis, machine learning and statistics. Upon hire, the candidate will join the data science team and will be responsible for the design and development of new state-of-the-art algorithms that will take the field of EEG neurodiagnostics to the next level.
What You’ll Do
●Lead research on novel EEG biomarkers of neurological disease
●Process raw EEG data to derive clinically actionable quantitative measures
●Design and build classification algorithms based on EEG data
●Conduct exploratory data analyses of EEG data
●Communicate results of the research
●Collaborate with business and clinical stakeholders to define project needs
●Perform other duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
- ●Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, Psychology or equivalent disciplines
●3+ years of industry/academic experience in signal processing, statistical data analysis, pattern recognition, machine learning and algorithm development
●Proficient in Python and Matlab
●Experience in biological signal processing and algorithm development for biomedical applications
●Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and collaborative across functions

Compensation Range
$110,000—$140,000 USD
