As our newest Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for all collections activity for assigned payers and business lines.
Responsibilities Include
- Managing all collections activity for assigned payers.
- Working closely various departments to identify and correct problem areas negatively affecting reimbursement.
- Addressing and resolving patient questions and concerns with top-notch customer service.
What we are looking for:
- Industry standard knowledge of private insurance reimbursement standards in the Healthcare sector is absolutely necessary.
- Experience collecting for Home Health, Hospice or Home Care agencies is heavily preferred.
- Experience using EMR/EHR and practice management software. Experience with Home Care Home Base highly desired!
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
