About the Role
We are currently seeking an Executive Coordinator who will support two of Bridgewater’s Investment Leaders – our Head of Research and Chief People & Operations Officer – by liaising with internal and external stakeholders on their behalf, fielding and prioritizing incoming requests, managing their commitments and calendars, installing and overseeing intra-team processes, and ensuring broad organization and coordination across their responsibilities. This role demands a highly organized candidate who can juggle multiple, sometimes competing, priorities seamlessly. And, given the sensitive nature of the information the team frequently engages on, unwavering professionalism, absolute discretion, and exceptional judgement are all non-negotiables. You will drive the following responsibilities:
- In partnership with the Head of Research, Chief People & Operations Officer, and their team, provide support to the leaders through administrative duties including:
- Proactively managing/coordinating daily schedule/calendar, contacts, travel arrangements, meetings (internal and external), conferences, and seminars.
- Arrange and schedule numerous meetings; maintain and update calendars; determine importance of meeting requests and schedule accordingly; demonstrate flexibility; serve as first-line of defense with the high volume of communications of phone and email.
- Responsible for excellence in complex meeting/event preparation (AV, room scheduling, telepresence events, etc.), set-up, and follow-up including preparing presentations/agendas/materials, documenting notes, and coordinating follow-up items to completion, arranging for food/drink.
- Act as a gatekeeper for the DHs, serving as first point of contact on incoming scheduling and administrative requests.
We are looking for candidates with the following minimum qualifications:
- Extensive experience supporting senior management in an administrative capacity
- Effective written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and an ability to juggle multiple responsibilities/tasks/priorities with minimal error
- Ability to anticipate and independently avoid or solve problems
- Agility; capable of adapting to unexpected changes and rapidly evolving situations
- Willingness to stay connected
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Physical Requirements:
For most of our roles, Bridgewater offers remote work flexibility, with most employees required to work on campus as their principal work location, a minimum of two days (and in some cases three days) per week with the option to work offsite on other days.
Compensation:
The wage range for this role is $130,000 - $170,000 inclusive of base salary and discretionary bonus. The expected base salary for this role is between 80-90% of this wage range.
