Salary Range: 115000 to 165000 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)

As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the manufacturing, integration, and test of the launch vehicle by taking a hands-on approach to solve complex engineering challenges. This includes supporting the design engineering, production, and launch teams by developing integration and test procedures and rapidly delivering high quality hardware. As an integration engineer, you will be responsible for the on-time delivery of the vehicle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the manufacturing, integration, and factory checkouts of the E2 engines and launch vehicle fluid systems
- Develop and own production processes to continually improve hardware quality and build rate
- Author manufacturing and integration procedures while facilitating build completion with the production team
- Lead resolution of non-conformances that arise during builds while working to implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with the design team and provide feedback during the hardware design process to ensure manufacturability and efficiency
- Support the development, qualification, and acceptance testing of hardware
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in aerospace engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar from an accredited university
- 2+ years of professional engineering experience
- Experience with the assembly of complex mechanical systems
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of professional experience within the aerospace industry
- Ability to organize tasks and communicate effectively
- Ability to balance multiple projects at once while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience writing integration and test procedures in a fast-paced production environment
- Experience completing vehicle fluid systems checkouts and leak checks
- Experience modeling components/assemblies using a 3D CAD software (such as Siemens NX)
- Familiarity with and ability to interpret engineering drawings with GD&T
