The Business Travel Coordinator is integral to the success of the Hotel Sales and Revenue Management teams. The position will report to the Area Director of Business Travel Sales. This position will work collaboratively with the Sales, Marketing and Operations to implement and activate optimization strategies within the Business Travel Segment. This role is responsible for tracking and identifying new prospects within the Business Travel Segment. This role will establish and ensure financial goals within the BT segment are met and consistent, high level of service is delivered with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of the hotel’s objectives. The BT Coordinator will focus and act in support of Our Quality Pledge and Standards of Service.
Hybrid schedule will be available 2 days a week after your first 60 days of employment and seeking candidates in the MD/VA/DC market.
Pay/salary: This is an hourly role compensated at $24.04 an hour / $50,000 annually.

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for the BT Management team
- Create awareness and have a deep understanding of each individual brands strategies for the BT Segment.
- Accurate preparation and distribution of daily, weekly, monthly reports.
- Involvement in establishing or 2023 Pricing strategy through the Wish/Walk Process
- Assist with ensuring rates are properly loaded and inventory maintenance is accurate.
- Provide brand level support and timely communication of brand initiatives to management.
- Be knowledgeable of all special rates and promotions and communicate strategies and procedures to other departments as required.
- Create new rate builds for promotions and negotiated accounts.
- Perform audits and maintenance on all systems, including PMS, CRS, RMS, and Sales & Catering Systems to ensure content and information is correct.
- Qualifies incoming leads/calls
- Assists with guest’s reservations
- Maintains monthly account tracking/production for hotels
- Proactively monitor and analyze the competition to identify selling strategies and market trends within the BT segment
- Assist in preparing contracts and proposals and completing RFP’s.
- Adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures and consistently maintain a professional and ethical representation within the Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management department.
- Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong communicate skills both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft related programs with heavy emphasis on Excel, VBA
- Able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
- The ability to prioritize projects and work quickly in a high-pressure & high stress environment.
- Demonstrates independent problem-solving skills and ability to identify areas of opportunity.
- Exceptional with details and follow up.
- Knowledge and understanding of all industry reports (STR, Hotelligence, Market Vision, etc.)
- Strong work ethic and professional focus; High level of integrity and discretion.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Ability to work extended hours based on business needs, with physically demanding responsibilities such as walking, standing, carrying, and lifting throughout the extended shift. Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds on occasional basis.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- At least 2 years of experience in hospitality revenue management, reservations, operations, or business analyst role preferred.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university preferred with an emphasis in statistics
