How you’ll support our operations:
As a front-line supervisor on our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the Production Manager in the day-to-day operations in our food-based fulfillment center. The Replenishment Supervisor is accountable for meeting or exceeding all operational goals through strong interpersonal communication, strategic planning, and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate builds strong professional relationships across departments, is an agent of change, and prioritizes the safety of both our team and our customers.
To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate will oversee the replenishment operations in our warehouse, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand while maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
What you will be doing:
- Supervise and provide guidance to a team of replenishment associates, ensuring that tasks are prioritized effectively and completed in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels of grocery products and develop replenishment strategies to ensure inventory locations are adequately stocked while minimizing excess inventory.
- Continuously assess and improve replenishment processes to enhance efficiency and productivity, implementing best practices and innovative solutions as needed.
- Train new team members on replenishment procedures, safety protocols, and company policies, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to ensure team members perform at their best.
- Conduct regular quality checks on products and replenishment activities to ensure compliance with company standards for freshness, quality, and accuracy.
- Conduct regular audits of stock levels in replenishment locations.
- Collaborate with warehouse management, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to communicate inventory needs, address issues or concerns, and coordinate replenishment efforts effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, replenishment activities, and performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Support Operations with different duties as needed.
- Regularly perform warehouse safety observations to ensure employees are apprised of weekly safety topics and the most current safety incident onsite as well as coached on safety opportunities.
What you have:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and experience with replenishment processes in a retail or distribution environment.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals and objectives.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software applications, including inventory management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
