The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SaaS System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance and optimization of our SaaS applications to ensure seamless and efficient operations. As a SaaS System Administrator, you will collaborate with various teams to support the organization’s use of cloud-based solutions, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for SaaS management.
In this role, you will be the champion of efficiency and will use your expertise in configuring, maintaining and optimizing our critical SaaS applications, ensuring they deliver maximum value. Collaboration is key — you will work hand-in-hand with teams across departments, empowering everyone to leverage the cloud effectively. You will also use your strong problem-solving skills to identify and solve any issues that arise in our tech stack, keeping operations on track.

The IT Team at Morning Consult:
The Information Technology Operations team plays a pivotal role in driving innovation, efficiency and scalability. We enable seamless communication, collaboration and data management across various divisions and stakeholders. Our team is continuously assessing and implementing emerging technologies to enhance product development, customer experiences and operational agility ensuring competitiveness in a dynamic market landscape.
What You’ll Be Working On:
- Administering, configuring and maintaining a variety of SaaS applications crucial to the organization’s operations
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and customize SaaS solutions accordingly
- Ensuring the availability, reliability and security of SaaS applications
- Managing user accounts, access levels and permissions for SaaS platforms
- Implementing and enforcing security policies to protect sensitive data within SaaS applications
- Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with security standards
- Working closely with development and IT teams to integrate SaaS applications with existing systems and workflows
- Implementing automation processes to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance overall system efficiency
- Proactively monitoring SaaS applications for performance issues and resolve them in a timely manner
- Investigating and troubleshooting user-reported problems, collaborating with support teams to provide effective solutions
- Coordinating and performing regular updates, patches and upgrades for SaaS applications
- Staying informed about new features and capabilities of SaaS platforms and make recommendations for their adoption
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation for SaaS configurations, processes and troubleshooting guidelines
- Providing technical support addressing hardware and software issues, and provide training and documentation to end-users as needed
- Assisting with configuring and maintaining networking equipment
- Managing backups and disaster recovery ensuring data security and integrity
- Helping support the SOC2 compliance program
- Monitoring endpoints and other vectors for security breaches
- Performing such other tasks and duties as may be required or assigned from time to time in the Company’s discretion
About You and What You’ve Done:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as a SaaS Administrator or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of various SaaS applications and their administration
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Certification in relevant SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner)
- Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity management solutions
- Familiarity with ITIL and best practices in IT service management
- Willing to take feedback, learn and grow; an ethos of continuous self-improvement

The expected salary range for this position is $72,100 - $113,400, with a midpoint of $92,800.
In most cases, we target the midpoint of our salary ranges for new hire compensation. This placement is reflective of full proficiency in a role.
