What You Will Be Doing
Our team is seeking a Manager with healthcare, client experience, and media expertise to lead implementation of strategic integrated communications programs for our clients. You will be a conceptual thinker with exceptional organizational and prioritization skills. In addition, you should have an agency background in healthcare communications with experience working on pharmaceutical products, biotech and/or medical devices, as well as knowledge of the media landscape and considerations in this space.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as the day-to-day tactical lead across clients, interagency partners, and internal team members, ensuring the successful implementation of the PR program.
- Lead execution of multichannel, earned-first creative activations in partnership with specialist teams (Earned Media, Creative, Strategy, Digital).
- Closely manage implementation of client-approved programs, understanding status, dependencies and considerations at all times.
- Initiate tactical execution of program elements, providing clear direction to internal specialist partners, foreseeing potential roadblocks and proactively recommending/implementing solutions.
- Manage development of a variety of material types (including press releases, key message documents, pitches, social media content, etc.).
- Ensure all deliverables are polished and error-free.
- Assist in financial management for clients, including development of activity reports
What We Are Looking For
- Industry experience in healthcare communications and/or pharmaceuticals
- Experience working within integrated agency teams (Earned Media, Social, Partnerships, Creative) and collaborating with a matrixed interagency team
- Ability to lead/manage multiple clients and programs (and associated expectations and timing) at once
- Can promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational functions
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and always focus on problem-solving
- Outstanding communications skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in sculpting and telling a cohesive story
Basic Qualifications
- At least 4 years’ experience in public relations at an agency or corporate in-house (healthcare experience required)
- BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, or in a related field

NYC Salary range: $82,000 - $92,000
Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
