About the role
Skills: JavaScript, Distributed Systems, PostgreSQLFounding Web Scraping & Automation Engineer
As a founding web automation engineer, you will be one of the architects of our web scraping and agent infrastructure. You’ll work closely with the founders to implement and experiment with new techniques on the cutting edge of browser automation. You will experiment with applying SOTA and open**-**source models to generalize web extraction at scale.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in development
- Proficiency with advanced web automation, including topics such as
- Web scraping with web driver frameworks (I.E. Playwright, Puppetear, Selenium)
- LLM Agents
Candidates with an Edge:
- Experience with advanced web automation topics, such as:
- Rotating Proxies
- Bot Fingerprinting
Technology
We're an LLM orchestration layer built on top of
- Models such as GPT, Claude and Mixtral
- a retrieval system built with MongoDB/Supabase vectorDBS
- APIs built with Express.
- Front ends built with React and Next.js
Interview Process
Thank you for your interest in joining Wolfia! We value your time and have designed our interview process to be thorough yet respectful of your schedule. Our process consists of 2.5 hours of interviews (either in-person or via video conferencing) and a 2-3 hour take-home challenge.
Round 1 - 15 min interview to talk about your background, personal goals, and how they align with the challenges we face at Firecrawl
Round 2 - 1 hour interview to talk about your technical experience
Round 3 - 2-3 hour Take home challenge to test coding and problem-solving skills
Round 4 - 1 hour Review and culture fit interview
If it all goes well, a job offer with compensation and benefits will be sent immediately.
