About the team
At Blue Cargo, you will be joining a small, dedicated data team responsible for:
- Analytics: Building and monitoring metrics to deliver insights to improve data quality across the features we develop.
- Machine Learning Algorithms: Developing, maintaining, and enhancing machine learning algorithms integrated into our pipelines to ensure optimal performance and innovation.
The data team collaborates closely with all other engineering teams, providing crucial support, making this position exciting as you get to work on many different projects.
What will you do?
As a Data analyst at Blue Cargo, you will play a crucial role in building the platform technology and infrastructure that drives our product delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
- Identify key insights to drive improvements in our processes and systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity.
- Detect, prioritize, and resolve systemic issues to improve data quality.
What are we looking for?
We are on the lookout for a talented Junior / Mid-Level Data Analyst who can bring their analytical expertise to our complex systems. The ideal candidate is smart, meticulous, and highly precise, with a passion for uncovering insights and driving improvements in a supply-chain software.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with analytics software such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Ability to work independently and great communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and oversee complex tasks while prioritizing multiple projects based on strategic goals.
Nice to have:
- Interest or experience in logistics and/or supply chain management.
- Startup experience.
- Basic understanding of machine learning techniques.
- Experience in data engineering (PySpark, Glue …)
Compensation
- Salary: $90k - $130k (salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location).
