On the engineering side, we are 7 engineers coming from diverse backgrounds ranging from 3 person YC startups to high-performance teams at companies like Shopify and Apple. We prefer to keep the team lean and talent dense with a concentration on passionate individuals.
At the moment we are hiring for a few (2-3) in-person (SF) engineering roles as we’re focused on building a robust and reliable experience for our customers.
As an engineer at Atlas, you will get to touch a breadth of industries from fintech to travel to hospitality. We believe in the power of creating integrated experiences as such, we are vertically integrating various travel and dining experiences directly into our app – creating various interesting engineering problems for us to solve in novel ways.
This role will be based in-person from our SF office (FiDi) and the expectation is at least 3 days per week in person.
We believe that passionate and determined people can excel in any stack – in an ideal world you check these boxes as well:
5+ years experience developing client/server software in dynamically-typed languages (Node, Ruby, Python), statically-typed languages (Java, C, C++), or other modern environments (Go, Rust, Elixir, etc).3+ years experience developing cloud-based software on AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.Knowledge of data modeling in SQL and relational databasesGood unit testing habits and a belief in code coverageSolid collaboration skills & the ability to work well with product, design, or other cross-functional teamsUnderstanding of optimization & performance profiling
