About Loula
Loula is a New York, NY based digital health startup building a provider network for birth and postpartum doulas accepting health insurance. Starting in California, Loula provides a platform that makes accepting health insurance seamless — we take care of credentialing and contracting, eligibility checks, and revenue cycle management so that doulas can focus on providing excellent care to their clients.
Our mission is to dramatically increase access to doula care for expecting families by making insurance acceptance accessible to doulas.
About the role
Skills: TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Amazon Web Services (AWS)✨ About Loula
We're building the Headway for birth & postpartum doulas. Loula's platform and provider network supports doulas by simplifying the process of accepting insurance, specifically Medicaid. Doulas typically operate outside of the traditional healthcare system and face enormous administrative challenges when accepting health insurance. Loula is revolutionizing the birth and postpartum care industry by making doula care more accessible to the families who need it the most. Loula handles all doula credentialing, contracting, and revenue cycle management, allowing them to focus on doing what they do best -- providing excellent care to families.
