AI Intern 2025Position Overview:The AI Intern at HCIactive will play a pivotal role in assisting the design, development, and implementing AI solutions that elevate user experiences across our range of products. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, to create intelligent and intuitive applications.Key ResponsibilitiesAI Implementation & OptimizationCrafting and refining prompts for pre-trained AI models (like GPT-4o-mini) to enhance HCI experiencesDeveloping creative applications that leverage existing AI capabilities in natural language processing and computer visionOptimizing AI model performance through systematic prompt engineering and effective integration strategiesAssisting in the evaluation and selection of appropriate AI models for specific HCI use casesData ProcessingWork with large datasets to extract meaningful insights for training AI models.Implement data pre-processing and cleaning procedures to ensure high-quality input for AI algorithms.IntegrationCollaborate with software developers to integrate AI models seamlessly into existing and new applications.Helping to ensure compatibility and optimal performance of AI components within the overall system architecture.Testing and OptimizationAssisting in conducting rigorous testing of AI models to identify and address issues related to accuracy, performance, and scalability.Optimize algorithms and models for efficiency and real-world application. DocumentationDocument code, algorithms, and processes to facilitate collaboration and knowledge transfer.Contribute technical documentation for end-users and stakeholders.Continuous LearningStay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and HCI to bring innovative ideas and approaches to the team.Participate in relevant conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance professional development.QualificationsWorking on a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.Strong interest in developing and deploying AI solutions.Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.Familiarity with popular AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.Knowledge of natural language processing, computer vision, and other AI domains.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
