Hiring Range: $108,000 - $128,400 Annually
This role can be based anywhere in ND, but regular travel to Bismarck may be needed.

North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) is seeking a Network and Communications Manager for our Technology division.
As our Network and Communications Manager, you will:
• Provide oversight of daily operations, vision, strategy, and direction to the Network teams
• Lead initiatives related to key network, video, and voice services for North Dakota state and local government agencies, and critical infrastructure for emergency services
• Manage vendors, contractors who provide consulting services, network, voice and video administration and engineering.
• Supervise projects, perform customer relationship management, manage budgets and rates for services provided.
• Lead the development and maintenance of processes, procedures, and standards for Network teams and the services they provide.
To be successful in this role, you will build strong partnerships with IT and business leaders, acting as a trusted advisor to align network and communications solutions with agency needs. You'll present technical information clearly to stakeholders and decision-makers, and foster innovation through continuous improvement and data-driven insights. You'll also work with architecture teams to evaluate emerging technologies that support the long-term success of our statewide IT initiatives.
To be considered for this role, you must have one of the following:
A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field, and five years of current and progressively responsible professional-level work experience in network and communications technologies. Previous work experience must include at least three years of supervisory or management experience.
Additional work experience as listed above may be substituted for formal education on a year for year basis.
