The Role
Jolt is hiring a General Manager – Revenue & Strategic Partnerships, an experienced growth leader who can drive revenue goals while navigating creative relationships with emotional intelligence.
You’ll lead the charge on scaling business growth—closing strategic partnerships, launching monetization models, and turning interest into income—while simultaneously stewarding relationships with care, cultural fluency, and deep respect for the artistic work at Jolt’s core.
We’re especially interested in candidates from adjacent industries—tech, creator platforms, or other mission-driven for-profit media ventures—who bring a fresh, system-level approach to building and scaling revenue in creative environments.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Strategic Growth
- Lead and scale Jolt’s multi-channel revenue strategy, including B2B partnerships, B2C sales, white-label services, and licensing
- Identify, pursue, and close high-impact deals with mission-aligned partners—nonprofits, universities, platforms, brands, and cultural institutions
- Build scalable revenue systems and frameworks for repeatable success
Strategic Leadership & Execution
- Collaborate with the CEO and cross-functional pods to shape and execute Jolt’s growth roadmap
- Represent Jolt at key moments—industry events, partner activations, major film campaigns
Relationship & Partner Management
- Serve as a key bridge between business and culture—ensuring revenue decisions honoring creative intent
- Build trust-based relationships with filmmakers, impact partners, educators, funders, and distributors
Reporting & Operations
- Deliver against aggressive revenue goals build forecasts, dashboards, and regular performance reporting
- Drive operational rigor in business development—from CRM pipelines to partner onboarding
- Develop and pursue growth strategies that ensure the company’s ongoing financial viability
- Reports to CEO, oversees other revenue and finance roles
Who You Are
- 8–12+ years in business development, revenue, partnerships, or growth leadership
- Proven ability to drive and close high-value, multi-stakeholder deals
- Experience in an adjacent industry like tech, creator economy, media platforms, or other high growth product startups
- Bonus: background in mission-driven or startup environments
