Position Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer II to support Attune's workers compensation team. This is a critical Engineering role, with the potential to impact a new, high-growth, flagship product. We're looking for folks with a strong foundation in software engineering principles and a proven ability to contribute to complex projects. This role will be more backend-heavy in nature, touching our key pricing systems, at least to start.
Key Responsibilities
- Creatively solve challenging product & technical problems
- Advocate & model high code quality, good test coverage and other engineering best practices
- Work on cross-functional user-facing projects that cross Engineering team boundaries
- Collaborate with product and our workers comp underwriting team
- Have autonomy to research and achieve outcomes with support when you need it
Qualifications
- 2+ years of software engineering experience working full-stack across multiple technical domains
- Experience working with product managers & tech leadership to determine requirements, designing solutions, writing code, writing tests, deploying changes, and support
- Strong communication skill, ability to easily collaborate with rest of engineering team & cross-functional teams
- Previous NodeJS experience is a must have
- Previous Typescript experience is a plus

The expected base salary for this position is $150,000 per year, with the opportunity to earn an annual bonus of up to $22,500.
