Working Hours/Shift:Monday-Friday, AM shift

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications)
:- Master's degree in a social science field plus at least four (4) years of experience in a behavioral health field, one (1) of which must be in a leadership role. OR
- Bachelor's degree in a social science field plus at least six (6) years of experience in a behavioral health field, one (1) of which must be in a leadership role.
- Peer Support Specialist Certification upon hire preferred or must successfully complete the certification process within one year of employment.
- Valid California Driver's License.
How you will make a difference (job overview):
This position's primary responsibilities are to ensure standards of excellence in practice, provide overall staff supervision and training, and manage daily administrative and clinical oversight of the Peer Support Services.
Division/Program Overview: - Program is designed to have a peer staff stationed at one of the county locations and supporting (either) children, adolescents, adults/older adults and families.
- This support is through assisting them in navigating the county system - through the knowledge of their own personal lived experience and connecting/linking to resources, opportunities and other communities of support.
- The unique lived experience of the staff provides support focused on advocacy, education, mentoring and support and motivation.
- Staff may also be required to support clients in the community.
