DUTIES: Provide technical leadership in designing and developing solution architecture for telecom wireless services, Metro Ethernet, SIP, BE, VoIP, and EoHFC; develop software using .Net, C#, Java, PHP, J2EE, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, EJB, HTML, Azure, and AWS; design, develop, and validate webservices using RESTful APIs, SOAP, EJB, ESP, Kafka, SoapUI, Postman, and Appium; design data models and relations using relational databases (RDBMS) including Oracle and MySQL, and NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Couchbase; manage builds using Maven, SVN, CVS, Concourse, and Octopus; manage projects in an Agile development environment using Rally, JIRA Issue Tracking, BMC Remedy, and Confluence; ensure programs are envisioned, designed, developed and implemented across the enterprise to meet business needs; interface with the enterprise architecture team and other functional areas to ensure that most efficient solution is designed to meet business needs; ensure solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable and delivered on schedule; develop, document, and ensure compliance with best practices including but not limited to coding standards, object-oriented design, platform and framework specific design concerns and human interface guidelines; monitor emerging technologies/technology practices for potential use within the Company; design and develop updated infrastructure in support of one or more business processes; mentor, review code and verify that object-oriented design best practices and coding and architectural guidelines are adhered to; contribute to the overall system implementation strategy for the enterprise; gather and understand client needs to find key areas where technology leverage is possible to improve business processes; define architectural approaches, develop technology proofs, and communicate technology direction; monitor the project lifecycle from intake through delivery; and ensure the entire solution design is complete and consistent.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, any Engineering, or related technical field, and seven (7) years of experience designing and developing solution architecture for telecom wireless services, Metro Ethernet, SIP, BE, VoIP, and EoHFC; designing, developing, and validating webservices using RESTful APIs, SOAP, EJB, ESP, Kafka, SoapUI, Postman, and Appium; designing data models and relations using relational databases (RDBMS) including Oracle and MySQL, and NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Couchbase; managing builds using Maven and Concourse; and managing projects in an Agile development environment using Rally, JIRA Issue Tracking, BMC Remedy, and Confluence; of which three (3) years include developing software using Java, J2EE, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, EJB, and HTML; and managing builds using SVN and CVS.
