Position Overview:The Manager of Information Technology (IT) will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the organization's technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and digital transformation initiatives. This role is responsible for shaping the IT vision and executing a forward-looking strategy that ensures secure, efficient, and innovative use of technology across all business functions. The Manager of IT will lead a dedicated team, foster cross-functional collaboration, maintain alignment with industry standards, and ensure that IT investments directly support the company's long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership & Planning:- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with corporate goals and market demands.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and digital transformation to improve business processes and drive competitive advantage.
- Advise executive leadership on emerging technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes impacting the IT environment.
Cybersecurity & Compliance:- Lead the implementation and ongoing compliance of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements, ensuring alignment with NIST, DFARS, and other relevant frameworks.
- Establish robust cybersecurity policies, Incident Response plans, and Disaster Recovery strategies to protect company assets and data.
- Oversee continuous risk assessment, vulnerability management, and security awareness training to maintain a strong security posture.
Infrastructure & Operations Management:- Oversee the design, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's IT infrastructure, including cloud and on-premises environments.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of critical business systems through strategic capacity planning and regular infrastructure assessments.
- Evaluate and manage IT operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements to ensure cost-effective, reliable service delivery.
Enterprise Systems & Vendor Management:- Direct the selection, implementation, and integration of key enterprise applications (e.g., Workday, GovWin, Salesforce) to support core business operations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to service-level agreements and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive successful technology adoption and continuous improvement of enterprise solutions.
Project & Resource Management:- Plan and execute IT projects within approved budgets, timelines, and scope, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources effectively, manage risks, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Implement best practices in IT project management, change management, and continuous improvement to maintain operational excellence.
Team Leadership & Development:- Recruit, mentor, and develop IT staff, fostering a culture of professional growth, innovation, and accountability.
- Set performance expectations, conduct regular assessments, and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities.
- Promote open communication, knowledge sharing, and collaboration within the IT department and with other functional areas.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record of IT leadership, including strategic planning, cybersecurity management, and enterprise technology implementations.
- Hands-on experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., CMMC, NIST, DFARS) and a deep understanding of current cybersecurity threats and solutions.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex IT infrastructures, cloud-based environments, and mission-critical business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, financial applications).
- Excellent vendor management skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships and negotiate favorable terms.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and motivate teams.
