Compensation:
Pay Range: $67,070 - $108,990 /year

Duties
To design information systems appropriate for users' needs and consistent with overall design of
information systems architecture. To review business needs, analyzes solution feasibility, and evaluates
project requirements. To provide education to customers on supported systems. To prepare and
maintain technical documentation. To provide ongoing system support via on call processes, monitoring,
and maintenance
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Independently identifies and analyzes business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define
scope and objectives for systems related to healthcare operations. Able to translate information into
systems requirements.
2. Exhibits intermediate level presentation and interpersonal skills to educate healthcare software
application users. Displays ability to support learners with unique learning needs.
3. Assists management or senior analysts to prepare flow charts and models as a part of conducting
feasibility studies regarding possible system solutions.
4. Independently creates costs, tasks and resource need estimates related to new or changing
systems functionality to meet user business needs.
5. Independently develops systems documentation to guide users and assist with ongoing operations
maintenance and development of the system. Best practices will guide departmental processes and
system documentation to achieve an operational system that is supportable and maintainable.
6. Independently develops systems related documentation including testing documents, work aids,
user training manuals, procedures and policies related to healthcare applications. Best practices will

7. Develops training curriculum and course content for a variety of instructional methods, including
classroom training, e-learning, and hands on workshops.
8. Oversees scheduling and logistics of training sessions.
9. Develops and maintains training documentation and resources including but not limited to reference
materials and user guides.
10. Stays up to date with relevant system updates, best practices, and industry trends, including Epic or
legacy systems as applicable to the area of support.
11. Engages with end users to understand training needs and gather feedback on training
effectiveness.
12. Maintains the training environment in collaboration with the technical team.
13. Assumes on-call duties as needed to provide user support by defining problems and identifying
solutions. Assist in the establishment of a collaborative user support framework that consistently
addresses hardware, software, and process issues (24/7). Exhibits excellent customer service and
problem-solving skills.
14. Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Associate's degree and three (3) years of experience in a healthcare applications support role required.
Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations
For roles supporting Epic systems: Epic certification in the assigned area of support is required or must
be obtained within 12 weeks of completing Epic training, with no more than two (2) testing attempts. For
roles supporting legacy systems: Certification is not required; familiarity with and expertise in the legacy
system being supported are expected to ensure effective performance in the role.
