Job DescriptionPosition Summary The Data Analyst works with cross-functional teams to support reporting and product definition needs. The role will involve researching information in large databases to provide reporting and troubleshooting issues from the Resort Technology Partners (RTP) point of sale. This position reports to the Finance & Revenue Manager.The budgeted salary range for this position is $78,175 - $101,527. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus. Job Posting Deadline Applications for this position will be accepted until February 1, 2025.Essential Job Functions/Key Job ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and organize available data across multiple resorts and business unitsInspect, clean, and transform data provided from the RTP point of sale systemCreate business driven financial reports and dashboards to be distributed on a weekly basis to key business ownersDefine structure terminology for point of sale products to be used consistently across the companyEstablish and preserve a mapping table for products on the RTP point of sale system for financial reporting and other areas of the businessCollaborate with Product Set Up, Ski and Ride School, Rental/Retail and other areas as necessary to understand best use cases for the data.Document best practices for reporting that allows for consistent approaches for customer segmentation and product reportingDesign and implement ad-hoc research and data analysis that answer specific business questions.Other duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field required2+ years of reporting experience in an Analyst or similar role requiredKnowledge, Skill & AbilitiesProficient knowledge in Excel, PowerPivot and PowerBIProficient knowledge in RTPProficient knowledge in SQLAbility to work with cross-functional teamsExcellent problem solving and critical thinking skillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate a significant amount of informationAbility to handle confidential informationAbility to be on a computer for the majority of the workdayAdditional InformationWork Environment and Physical DemandsAbility to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift, executing repetitive movements.
