Direct hire opportunity for a Software Engineer. Onsite in Pittsburgh, PA.
US Citizenship Required. Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.In this role you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, under the supervision of a principal software developer. You will develop innovative and useful GUI designs for complex domains.
Responsibilities - Develop applications utilizing HTML5 and a variety of JavaScript APIs/frameworks, encompassing jQuery, D3.js, Node.js, React, and AngularJS.
- Provide support for existing applications/prototypes within production/staging environments, troubleshooting issues, and expanding functionality as necessary.
- Execute rapid prototyping of critical technology risk areas early in project initiation.
- Perform iterative assessments of system prototypes and operational evaluations of deployed decision support systems.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, working under the guidance of a principal software developer.
- Design innovative and user-friendly GUI designs for intricate domains.
- Contribute to System Administration tasks such as managing user accounts and inventory as required.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience preferred
- Proficiency in coding within a general-purpose programming language, including JavaScript, Python, Java, C, or C++.
- Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems, including adeptness in Linux command line operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills,
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn new programming languages as needed
- Active or ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
