About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Machine Learning Engineerto join our dynamic team. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models and algorithms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions that drive business outcomes and enhance our products and services.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 depending on background and experience

Key Responsibilities:

Research, design, and implement machine learning algorithms and models to address business challenges and opportunities
Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to gather, preprocess, and analyze large datasets
Develop and optimize machine learning pipelines for tasks such as data cleaning, feature selection, model training, and evaluation
Experiment with different machine learning techniques and algorithms to optimize model performance and accuracy
Deploy machine learning models into production environments and monitor their performance over time
Implement best practices for data governance, model deployment, and version control
Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning research and apply relevant techniques to our solutions
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on machine learning methodologies and best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
5 years of experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or in a similar role
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (preferred), R, or Java, and experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data modeling techniques
Well versed in SQL
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and scaling machine learning solutions
Solid knowledge of software engineering principles, including version control, testing, and deployment
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience with agile software development methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in industries such as sports property, marketing agency, brand, entertainment or media
Experience with cloud-based AI frameworks such as AWS Sagemaker and Azure Machine Learning
Familiarity with deep learning techniques and architectures (e.g., CNNs, RNNs)
Contributions to open-source projects or publications in relevant conferences or journals
Certification in machine learning or related fields
