The Organizer will be responsible for implementing all civic participation and community education campaigns for the Latino Community Fund throughout Metro Georgia.

Specifically, the Organizer will work to identify, coordinate, organize, and report on educational efforts, nonpartisan voter registration, voter mobilization, and community civic engagement events.

The Metro Georgia Organizer supports the Civic participation program by coordinating events, community networking, support in community outreach, voter registration, and civic engagement education.

The Organizer must be innovative, driven, and feel comfortable working in teams as part of our LCF Georgia state and partner organizations in the Civic participation space.

She/he/they will report to the Civic Participation Field Manager and, ensure all the civic participation in Metro Georgia and certain surrounding areas of Metro Georgia work is being done, upholding the highest quality control standards, meeting all state and federal regulations, and representing the organization when needed including community events, evening meetings and weekend shifts.

The Metro Georgia Organizer will interact with diverse communities as part of a multicultural and multilingual nonpartisan Georgia effort.

Civic Participation Organizer Duties & Responsibilities

Work closely with the Civic Participation Field Manager to plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of our civic engagement and Metro Georgia community outreach and navigation strategies
Support the implementation of the plans for civic participation and nonpartisan work in Metro Georgia and other areas of South Georgia:
The Organizer will develop fieldwork initiatives, creating new opportunities in the community in line with strategic planning and event coordination
Following the manager’s lead and guidance will create content for educational materials and information and will disperse with coalition members and partners, ensuring field/data tracking.
Attend the Latino Community Fund Georgia at all L4D or LCF Georgia internal meetings when meetings are held.
Support the development and implementation of base-building strategies with the Civic Participation Manager including phone banking, canvassing, and text banking.
Thought partner in collaboration with the Civic Participation Manager
Outgoing development of relationships with community partners, leaders, and other stakeholders.
Work closely with the Civic Participation Manager and Civic Participation Field Manager to develop messaging, and communication talking points and materials related to the campaigns as needed.
Support the development of tactics/strategies to engage the Metro Georgia Latino Community (i.e house meetings, tabling, SMS campaigns & in-person/ virtual events).

Fully bilingual (Spanish and English)

Experience with civic and voter engagement campaigns (i.e. phone banking, digital and in-person outreach, canvassing, tabling, etc. )
Comfortable working with various and diverse community stakeholders, including Black, Brown, White and AAPI communities, grassroots leaders, volunteers, etc.
Conflict resolution skills

Location, Duration & Compensation

This is a full-time exempt position approximately 40 hours per week with nights and weekends

as needed. Your annual salary will be $40,425 paid on a semi-monthly basis by direct deposit

You will qualify to receive up to $487.50 in health reimbursement per month for health expenses, flexible paid time off, and a stipend of $45 to cover a portion of your cell phone and internet costs.
