Position Overview

Element is looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong application design and development skills. In this role, you must possess excellent problem-solving skills and deep technical knowledge with a strong aptitude for appreciating the focus, scope, and impact of your work in a much wider and forward-looking software landscape. You should also be able to demonstrate a history of technical leadership, excellent communication, and a positive attitude. You'll be part of a multi-disciplinary, agile application development team tasked with operating and enhancing an enterprise government system and with performing migration from one AWS account to another. Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of engineering experience.
- Experience in DevOps.
- Experience with CSS, Angular and shifting testing left, as well as all aspects of full test automation.
- Experience with AWS.
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
- Passion for learning new technologies and the ability to do so quickly.
- Ability to write high-quality code efficiently.
- Experience with Agile application development.
- Test-Driven Development, Agile Development and Mindset.
- Java and JavaScript development experience.
- Developing Restful JSON APIs.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience within CMS is a plus.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
- Must reside in the Continental US.
- Depending on government agency, specific requirements may include public trust background check or security clearance.

$100,000 - $150,000 a year

The likely salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
